A “Real” Afrikan” Holiday

I propose a litmus test, going forward, for any “holiday” we collectively choose to participate in as an Afrikan people. Any REAL Afrikan “holiday” would be assessed with respect to its contemporaneous contribution towards our self-determination, liberation, and freedom, not towards its capacity to steer us towards deeper psychological identification with the system and/or our historical experience with it. There is a vital strategic difference between a living memorial and a monument.
